The SCM Router is great for both big and small pieces. This model has a large table to aid in routing larger pieces.
Training Required
Location
- This machine is located in the Woodshop on the first floor of the EDIB.
Safety Info
- Keep hands as far from the blade of the router as possible while keeping a good grip on your piece. This will reduce injury and accidents.
- Use guides when possible to safely route your piece.
- When possible have two people operating the band saw, one cutting and one near the emergency stop button.
Tips and Tricks
- Measure twice before cutting your piece to ensure that the cut is correct.
