3D Printing: FormLabs Form 4

About

This Form 4 printer prints using a vat of photosensitive resin, allowing for high quality finishes on your parts. Because of safety concerns with liquid resin, you will need to have a TA present and assist you while using this printer. After waiting for your print for the first 10 minutes, you can leave the printer going unattended!

Printer Type: Form Labs Form 4, and accompanying Form Wash & Form Cure

Material: FormLabs Gray V5, Clear, and Flexible 80A

• Safety Training
• Basic Additive I Training
• Basic Additive II Training (with Challenge Part)

Location

• The Form 4 can be found in the AM lab in EDI (108).

Safety Info

• You must have a TA present and assist you

• Wear the nitrile gloves when handling any parts with uncured resin

Tips and Tricks

• Turn up the resolution on your STL’s! This printer can create a much smoother and finer part quality.
