Welcome to EDSGN 100 Cornerstone!

Engineering Design Cornerstone will give you hands-on experience in engineering design as well as improve your skills working with others to communicate processes including ethical decision making that apply to the projects posed throughout the class. It is important to recognize the role engineering has to improve health, safety, and the welfare of our communities while identifying when solutions are feasible, economically viable, and desirable.

Double-Sided Maze

Design and CNC-route a double-sided wooden maze, then laser-cut acrylic covers and assemble with hardware to enclose a rolling ball. Include a through-hole that connects the top and bottom maze paths so the ball can travel between both sides. Secure the acrylic covers using the bolts, and voilà! You have a made double-sided maze.
